Nordis Travel is a leading B2B Destination Management Company (DMC) headquartered in Copenhagen, specializing in tailor-made group, FIT, and MICE travel throughout Scandinavia, the Nordics, and the Baltics.
We partner exclusively with tour operators, travel agencies, and travel professionals worldwide, delivering exceptional travel experiences that showcase the very best of Northern Europe. As we continue to expand our presence in the UK, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow our market share and strengthen relationships with key travel partners.
The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate sales professional with a strong background in the travel industry and a proven ability to develop business within the UK market. You will play a key role in expanding our client portfolio, managing strategic accounts, and driving sustainable revenue growth across Group, FIT, and MICE travel to the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities within the UK travel market.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, and key industry partners.
- Manage the complete sales cycle—from client acquisition and quotations to post-travel follow-up—ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the Department Manager and internal Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver tailored travel solutions.
- Monitor sales performance, account profitability, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and client retention.
- Represent Nordis Travel at industry events, trade shows, roadshows, and client meetings, including key exhibitions such as WTM London.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support business strategy and product development.

What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, ideally within the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of the UK travel trade and its key market players.
- Existing network within UK tour operators, travel agencies, or luxury travel professionals is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with an international team.
- Knowledge of Scandinavian and Baltic destinations is an advantage, or a genuine passion and willingness to become an expert in the region.
