Sales & Operations Manager - Travel Sector

Hybrid working (3-4 days onsite) | West Yorkshire | £40,000 - £50,000

Are you currently working in a travel agency, tour operator, online travel business, or customer-focused travel organisation and looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact?

We're partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing specialist travel business with an outstanding reputation in its market. Having achieved significant growth, the company is now entering an exciting new phase and is seeking a commercially minded Sales & Operations Manager to help drive the next stage of its journey.

This is far more than a traditional management role. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, improve performance, develop people, implement new systems and processes, and play a key role in shaping a business that is becoming a recognised leader within its sector. If you're someone who enjoys improving how things work, developing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and helping a business scale, we'd love to hear from you.

Why This Role?

This opportunity would particularly suit someone with experience from:

  • Retail travel agencies
  • Tour operators
  • Online travel agencies (OTA)
  • Travel e-commerce businesses
  • Travel sales and reservations teams
  • Customer operations or contact centre environments within travel

Perhaps you're a Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, or Senior Team Leader looking for a broader leadership role where your ideas and expertise will genuinely shape the future of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
