Sales Assistant – Optician & Retail(Jimmy Fairly)
About Jimmy Fairly
Boring? Expensive? Dull? Jimmy Fairly was born—not with a wanter—but a need to revolutionise the optical industry. Founded in 2010 by Antonin Chartier, a 23-year-old psychology student passionate for entrepreneurship, the concept was simple: give quality, fair prices, and a positive social impact.
Over a decade later, little has changed. Now with over 100 stores across Europe & the UK, Jimmy Fairly brings back great style (instant seasonal trends every 6 weeks) and a smile through:
- A U-turn-in-manufacturing process designed for quality without sacrificing the planet
- Customer-centric care, from entry to eye tests with expert optometrists, backed by an exceptional aftercare team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
