Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant based in Cumbernauld, you'll be responsible for:
- Predominantly assisting in the contracts office dealing with customer telephone calls and emails, raising quotations and processing purchase orders
- Serving customers face to face at the Trade Counter
- Building relationships with trade customers to guarantee future sales
- General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items

Hours
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm.
Requirements
- Plumbing or industry knowledge would be beneficial
- Strong communication and confidence in interacting with both customers and suppliers
- A proactive team player who’s willing to support all areas of the branch when required
- Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
