Sales Assistant
Sales Assistant – Greenford, Johnstone’s Decorating Centre
Full-Time | Permanent Position
About the Role
We are excited to offer a permanent vacancy for a Sales Assistant within our Architectural Coatings division.
This is an opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team as a valued member. While previous experience in a customer-facing environment and familiarity with IT systems are desirable, we are happy to provide tailored in-store training to bring you up to speed.

A Day in the Life
As a Sales Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers on the trade counter and store floor
- Undertaking training to confidently select the right product for customer needs
- Ensuring the store is well-presented, clean, and stocked
- Managing deliveries and stock levels in accordance with company procedures
Key Skills & Qualities
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles (desirable)
- Strong communications skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Good knowledge or understanding of IT systems (desirable)
- Flexibility with working hours and tasks
- Driving licence (desirable)
