Sales Assistant
Sales Assistant – Architectural Coatings Division
Greenford, Johnstone’s Decorating Centre Full Time | Permanent
Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our friendly and supportive team as a Sales Assistant within our Architectural Coatings division.
Previous experience in a customer-facing environment and a basic understanding of IT systems is desirable, but not essential—our comprehensive in-store training ensures you’ll succeed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve customers professionally at the trade counter and across the store
- Upskill through training to confidently recommend products and promote the brand
- Maintain store tidiness—ensure a welcoming, well-presented environment
- Manage stock (handling deliveries, restocking shelves)
Key Skills & Qualities
- Customer service experience (desirable)
- Clear communication with a positive attitude toward customer needs
- Adaptability (flexible with working hours/duties)
- Driving licence (preferred, though not mandatory)
