About the Role

Frette is seeking a Sales Assistant for our boutiques in London, UK, a role critical to the seamless functioning of our exclusive heritage brand. The Sales Assistant contributes to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, focusing on client acquisition, inventory control, and operational excellence.

At Frette, we prioritise teamwork, integrity, and a passion for luxury. This role requires adherence to high brand standards, exceptional customer service, and efficient management of stock and sales processes.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive sales targets by upholding Frette’s sales excellence while fostering long-lasting client relationships.
  • Exceed individual KPIs through premium service, from handling inquiries (email, phone, WhatsApp) to completing transactions (cash/credit).
  • Capture and analyse client data to personalise outreach, boost loyalty, and nurture privileges for retention.
  • Issue bespoke quotes, coordinate alterations, and execute white-glove services (e.g., home consultations).
  • Maximise ROI by staying informed on marketing campaigns and activating high-end client experiences.
  • Ensure all client interactions reflect professionalism, elegance, and passion for the Frette brand.

Inventory Control

  • Oversee all inventory-related activities, including cycle counts, adjustments, reporting, and communicating discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking for transfers, damages, shipping, stock levels, and out-of-stock situations.
  • Achieve optimal product storage, including front-of-house displays, back-of-house areas, and offsite facilities.
  • Collaborate with Store Manager to maintain suitable inventory levels and a high-growth retail environment.
  • Guarantee compliance with BOH/back-store policies (e.g., Loss Prevention, Boutique Maintenance, CRM uptime).
  • Train colleagues in inventory management and moderate policy updates for all team or external staff.

Operations & Store Excellence

  • Execute daily duties, including opening/closing routines, cash handling, chargeback reconciliations, returns, and refunds.
  • Maintain a visual-merchandising standard (VM rotations, bed changes, consistent sales floor presentation).
  • Assist in bi-annual stocktakes and new shipment receiving/processing for a tidy, efficient back-room.
  • Resume technical support with IT via helpdesk inquiries.
  • Address client concerns promptly and provide post-sale reporting as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years in luxury retail or sales, where customer satisfaction and stock management are priorities.
  • Highly flexible—ready to work ** evenings, weekends, and holidays**, adhering to a commercial-grade schedule.
  • Proficient in retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Attention to detail, with organisational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong command of English and Italian; another European language is a significant advantage.
  • Balances team orientation with self-motivation—driven, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with exceptional time management and problem-solving.
  • Commits to high-performance standards and cultivates collaborative relationships within a vibrant team.
