About the Role
Pay scale:
- 16–17 years old: £8.00 per hour
- 18+ years old: £12.71 per hour
Your local store is hiring a Sales Assistant with a passion for delivering fantastic customer experiences. Every visit is an opportunity to transform a shopper’s day – and you’ll be the key person making that happen, from the warmest hello to the final thank you.
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—bringing energy, enthusiasm, and expert product knowledge to every interaction. Whether assisting customers with finding the perfect item or providing inspiration, you’ll ensure every visitor leaves with exactly what they need and a lasting memory that brings them back again.

- The entire customer experience: From the moment a customer enters the store to their departure, you’ll focus on creating joyful, thoughtful interactions.
- Training across all areas:
- Tills: Providing a friendly and efficient checkout. Ensure orders are complete, pack fragile items carefully, and leave customers confident in their purchases.
- Shop floor: Assisting customers in finding their products and uncovering unexpected favourites. Offer expert, passion-driven advice to build loyalty.
- Hosting: Using iPad systems for home delivery orders and made-to-measure services (custom curtains and blinds). Style displays (e.g., bedding) to inspire customers and help them visualise perfect fits for their homes.
- Stock & delivery: Handling deliveries, stock checks, and replenishment—connecting retail operations with customer needs.
