Sales Assistant – Architectural Coatings
Bracknell | Full Time | Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused individual to join our friendly and supportive team as a Sales Assistant within our Architectural Coatings division. This is an exciting permanent opportunity where we’ll provide in-store training as you gain expertise in selecting paints and coatings for trade and retail customers. Previous customer-facing experience or strong IT skills are desirable, but not essential.

A Day in the Life
As a Sales Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving customers at the trade counter and in-store with friendliness and professionalism
- Undergoing training to confidently recommend products for customer needs
- Maintaining store presentation (cleanliness, stock availability)
- Stock management (handling deliveries, stocking shelves)
Key Skills & Desirable Criteria
- Desirable but not essential:
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Previous retail or sales experience
- Knowledge of IT systems
- Driving license (helpful for lignin particular store locations)
- Necessary traits:
- Strong communications & customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility with working hours
