About the Role
At Crown Paints, our Sales Assistants are the heartbeat of the store, helping customers realise their projects, building strong relationships with local trades, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
We’re seeking a Sales Assistant / Driver to join our team in Aberdeen. This role involves:
Responsibilities
- Providing brilliant customer service, both in-store and over the phone
- Mixing and tinting paint to meet customer requirements
- Operating the store van to distribute stock locally
- Processing sales and managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions
- Supporting stock control, deliveries, and maintaining store standards
- Developing relationships with customers and opening new trade accounts

A key aspect of the role is identifying potential new customers, maintaining positive relationships, and regularly opening customer accounts.

What we’re looking for
- A friendly, confident approach when dealing with customers
- Strong communication skills
- (Helpful but not essential) Retail or sales experience
- Attention to detail and adherence to safe working practices
- A full driving licence
