Role Description

This full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role is based in London and focuses on delivering an exceptional in-store experience that reflects Anya Hindmarch’s values and aesthetic. The Sales Assistant will welcome and engage customers, provide attentive and personalized service, and support them in discovering collections, bespoke offerings, and organizational accessories. Daily responsibilities include achieving sales targets, handling transactions, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring the store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked. The role also involves sharing product knowledge, explaining personalization and sustainability initiatives, managing customer queries and returns professionally, and collaborating with the team to support events and new launches. The Sales Assistant will contribute to a positive, inclusive store culture and uphold Anya Hindmarch’s high standards of service and brand presentation.

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver a welcoming, inclusive experience.
  • Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills to explain products, personalization options, and brand stories effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert interest into purchases, work toward targets, and support add-on and repeat sales appropriately.

  • Previous experience in luxury retail or fashion is beneficial, along with a genuine interest in craftsmanship, personalization, and sustainable practices.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays, and to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic proficiency with POS systems and handling payments; additional language skills are an advantage.
