Sales Assistant - Host

Pay

  • 16–17 years old: £8.00 per hour
  • 18+ years old: £12.71 per hour

Store Location

Need: 16 hrs/week Sales Assistant - Host

About the Role

Sales Assistants are the heart of our stores, blending exceptional customer service with a warm, welcoming presence. Here, you’ll handle the moment that matters most—yet it starts long before the customer steps through our doors.

As a Host, you set the tone. From the first smile to the final thank-you, you’ll bring personality and expertise to every interaction, making sure customers leave happy, inspired, and ready to come back.

Your Impact:

  • Guide shoppers through their journey, offering thoughtful recommendations.
  • Spot upsell opportunities to delight customers further.
  • Be the "Aha!" moment—helping them discover products they didn’t even imagine they needed.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Deliver joyful experiences every single visit, ensuring the customer experience shines.
  • Deliver superlative customer service to keep CSAT scores exceptional, leaving every customer feeling valued.
  • Be the first point of contact—solution-providing, advice-giving, and learning how to guide customers toward the ideal products.
  • Guarantee every shopper leaves with everything they needed and a lasting impression.
  • Facilitate Click & Collect and home delivery, dramatically expanding your reach beyond the store.
  • Keep the store visually compelling and well-ordered, ensuring it reflects the best of our brand.

Broader Store Skills (Full Training Provided)

We’ll equip you with everything you need to shine across the store, including:

  • Cash Handling: Troubleshoot transactions with care—pack fragile items securely to out-do customer expectations.
  • Engage on the Shop Floor: Turn insights into solutions, creating timeless moments for shoppers.
  • Stock & Supply Chain Assistance: From taking dilute to keeping products neatly arranged and visible, this technical task matters just as much to the customer experience.
