Sales Assistant
Sales Assistant – Architectural Coatings Division
Position Summary
Greenford Johnstone’s Decorating Centre is recruiting for a Full-Time, Permanent Sales Assistant within their Architectural Coatings division.
We’re seeking a customer-focused individual to join our friendly and supportive team. While previous experience in customer-facing environments and IT systems knowledge is desirable, on-the-job training will be provided as part of your role.

A Day in the Life
Key Responsibilities
✅ Supporting customers on-trade counter & in-store with professionalism ✅ Undertaking training to confidently recommend products and represent the brand ✅ Maintaining a tidy & well-presented store ✅ Handling stock management (process deliveries, keep shelves stocked)
Key Skills & Desirables
- Previous customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Effective communicator with a positive, customer-oriented attitude
- Basic IT skills (desirable: familiarity with retail or inventory systems)
- Flexibility to adjust hours and tasks as needed
- Desirable: Valid UK driving licence
