Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Assistant in Cumbernauld, your main tasks include:
- Assisting in the contracts office with:
- Handling customer telephone calls and emails
- Raising quotations
- Processing purchase orders
- Serving customers face-to-face at the Trade Counter
- Building long-term trade customer relationships to ensure future sales
- Supporting warehouse duties, including:
- Booking incoming stock onto systems
- Storing put-away stock
- Picking & packing customer orders (may involve manual handling of heavy items)

Terms
- Hours: Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week)
- Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 08.00am – 5.00pm
- Friday: 08.00am – 4.00pm
Requirements
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player with the following:
✅ Plumbing or industry knowledge (helpful but not mandatory) ✅ Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with customers and suppliers ✅ Willingness to be a proactive team player, assisting across branch needs as required ✅ Enthusiastic learning mindset
