About the Role
As a Sales Assistant based in Cumbernauld, you’ll be responsible for:
- Contracts office support:
- Assisting with customer telephones, emails, and quotations
- Processing purchase orders
- Customer service at the Trade Counter:
- Serving customers face-to-face
- Building trade customer relationships for future sales
- Warehouse duties:
- Booking incoming stock onto systems
- Putting away and picking/packing customer orders
- Manual handling of heavy items
Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday: 08:00 am – 4:00 pm (37.5 hr week over 5 days, equivalent to 40 hrs)

Requirements
- Plumbing or industry knowledge (beneficial)
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact with customers and suppliers
- A proactive team player, able to support all branch operations
- Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
