Sales Associate – Entry-Level Opportunity
Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
Looking for more than just a job?
Playbook Direct is based in Manchester — a city that knows how to work hard and win big. If you’re driven, people-focused, and ready to build a future you’re proud of, we’ve got the opportunity for you.
About the Role
We're looking for ambitious Sales Associates to join our dynamic team and represent top UK brands in a face-to-face, customer-first role. Whether you’ve got retail experience, hospitality flair, or you just know how to hold a conversation — we’ll give you the tools to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Speaking with real people, in real time – This is not a desk job. You’ll be out engaging directly with customers in retail spaces, pop-ups, or event locations across Greater Manchester.
- Presenting exciting products and services – You’ll represent brands customers already know, and offer them great deals with energy, confidence, and clarity.
- Building trust and making sales – Learn how to identify what people really need, and help them make smart decisions — no pressure, just genuine conversations.
- Hitting targets and earning rewards – With weekly bonuses and uncapped commissions, your effort directly shapes your income.
- Working as part of a tight-knit team – We’re a supportive, competitive, and fun crew who celebrate each other’s wins.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
