Sales Assistant with Driving – Swansea, Johnstone’s Decorating Centre
Full-Time | Permanent Position
Summary
We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for a Sales Assistant within our Architectural Coatings Division. We’re looking for a customer-focused individual to become a key member of our friendly and supportive team.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing environment and a good understanding of IT systems is desirable, but not essential.
- We will provide in-store training to support your development.

A day in the life of…
As a Sales Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving customers on the trade counter and in-store with a friendly and professional manner.
- Completing all required training to confidently:
- Select the correct product for customers’ needs
- Promote our brand
- Maintaining the store’s presentation:
- Ensuring it is well-presented and clean
- Managing stock procedures:
- Receiving deliveries
- Keeping shelves stocked
Key Skills
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable
- Strong communication skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Good IT system knowledge (desirable)
- Flexibility regarding working hours and duties
- Driving license is required for this role
