Are you a confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building genuine relationships?

We're representing a growing organisation in Southampton that is expanding its customer engagement and fundraising team. This opportunity combines sales, customer engagement, and community outreach, giving you the chance to represent respected charitable organisations while developing valuable sales and communication skills.

No previous sales experience is required. Full training, coaching, and ongoing support are provided from day one, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in sales.

The Role

As a Sales Associate, you'll engage with members of the public through face-to-face community campaigns, introducing them to the charities you represent. You'll share each charity's mission, values, and inspiring success stories, helping people understand the impact their support can have on individuals, families, and communities. You'll answer questions, build trust through genuine conversations, and guide new supporters through the sign-up process, ensuring every interaction is informative, professional, and positive.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and achieving meaningful results while developing transferable sales and communication skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • Represent respected charitable organisations through professional face-to-face community campaigns.
  • Engage members of the public and build positive relationships.
  • Share each charity's mission, values, campaigns, and real-life success stories.
  • Explain how regular donations support essential services and community projects.
  • Answer questions with confidence, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Guide supporters through the registration and sign-up process.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience from the initial conversation through to completion.
  • Work towards individual and team fundraising objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, product knowledge, and communication workshops.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
