Role Description

The Sales Assistant role at Fueguia 1833 is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Sales Assistant is a gallerist and an expert and passionate story-teller who will welcome customers, provide product information, and guide visitors through the brand’s perfume collections to support an engaging, high-quality retail experience.

Daily activities include:

  • Handling customer inquiries
  • Processing sales transactions
  • Maintaining store displays and stock levels
  • Ensuring the gallery is clean, organized, and visually appealing

The role also involves supporting inventory checks, preparing orders, and collaborating with the team to meet sales targets and deliver consistent customer service. The Sales Assistant will represent the brand’s values, follow store policies and procedures, and may assist with small in-store events and brand storytelling.

  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport and provide attentive, personalized support to visitors.
  • Candidates should possess clear communication skills to explain product features, respond to questions, and convey the brand story in a confident and respectful manner.
  • Candidates should possess foundational sales skills to identify customer needs, make appropriate recommendations, and contribute to achieving sales goals ethically and professionally.
  • Candidates should possess solid organization skills to manage multiple customer interactions, maintain tidy displays, and support accurate stock handling.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a luxury or specialty retail environment, with an interest in fragrances or high-end consumer products.
  • Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Previous and minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is mandatory.
  • Candidates should be proficient in basic point-of-sale systems and cash-handling; additional language skills are a plus.
