Sales Specialist

Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid

This role follows a non-negotiable 3-day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Milton Keynes office.

About The Job

We’re looking for a customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our Lenovo team at Ingram Micro. As a new and growing vendor within this business area, it's a great opportunity for someone to make their mark - building their knowledge, becoming a Lenovo expert, and taking products and services to market.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a sales role or build on some early commercial experience. It would suit someone who is confident, proactive, and keen to grow their own account base, using their initiative and a commercial mindset.

You’ll be supported by a manager who leads from the front, using data and insight to guide and adapt your approach, alongside a collaborative and supportive team culture. Ideas are welcomed, and you’ll be encouraged to use your initiative, challenge ways of working, and make a real impact while achieving both personal and business goals.

What your role as a Sales Specialist will involve:

  • Driving the growth of Lenovo products and services, taking them to market across both existing and previously engaged customers
  • Building and developing your own pipeline, identifying opportunities to grow and expand your account base
  • Becoming a go-to contact for Lenovo, developing strong knowledge of the products and services within your portfolio
  • Building relationships and having meaningful conversations to understand customer needs and present the right solutions
  • Supporting customers with product information, pricing, availability, and offers
  • Preparing and managing quotes, following up on opportunities, and progressing deals through to completion
  • Actively managing and developing your pipeline, focusing on both volume and strategic opportunities
  • Taking part in sales focus days at Ingram Micro and with customers where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
