Sales Associate
Sales Associate 16 hours per week
Location TUMI Regent Street Store 128–130 Regent St., London W1B 5SE
Availability January/February 2026
Job Purpose As part of our Retail Team, the Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience that reflects our brand while fostering strong relationships and driving sales through outstanding service. The ideal candidate must embody a passion for premium travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets, and thrive in an entrepreneurial retail environment where growth opportunities—such as hitting sales targets, nurturing client loyalty, and delivered world-class service—are integral to success.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Provide professional advice and product demonstrations to customers, ensuring an engaging shopping experience.
- Highlight benefits and key features of our merchandise to maximise sales.
- Deepen product knowledge to deliver effective add-on sales and consultations.
- Maintain awareness of store layout, stock, and promotions to support seamless transactions.
- Handle customer complaints, phone queries, and returns with tact and efficiency, adhering to company policies.
- Be proficient in processing transactions, managing warranties, and sales tracking (daily/weekly/monthly targets, goals, and bonuses).
- Provide clients with in-depth information on after-sales service, guarantees, and support coverage.

Stock & Merchandising
- Coordinate and verify deliveries, reporting discrepancies efficiently.
- Upkeep of backup stock and storage areas, ensuring an organised and inviting presentation.
- Assist in organising displays, shelf arrangements, and internal promotion events.
- Participate in inventory counts as directed by Store Management.
- Stay updated on new product releases and their selling points.
- Follow Head Office communications and relay pertinent policies to the team.
Security & Operations
- Monitor security compliance for stock and cash handling, following company procedures.
- Address health & safety concerns, reporting incidents promptly to management.
- Manage telephone enquiries, customer orders, and Head Office communications professionally.
- Maintain accurate stock and personnel administration as per guidelines.
Housekeeping
- Uphold high cleanliness and maintenance standards—daily store tidiness, fixture checks, and presentation of products.
Attendance & Training
- 10-minute early arrivals before shift start to ensure readiness.
- Notify absence/latency immediately via direct telephonic contact with management.
- Make up for absences where possible, discussing arrangements with the Store Manager.
- Attend mandatory training sessions promptly, adhering to company policies.

Appearance & Professionalism
- Maintain impeccable grooming, tidiness, and adherence to company dress code at all times.
Requirements
- Desirable: Proficiency in premium retail sectors (preferably with lifestyle/travel-focused expertise).
- Enthusiasm for selling premium brands and deep passion for TUMI’s status-conscious, travel-oriented products.
- Strong oral and written command of English; multilingual skills a plus.
- Demonstrable energy, adaptability, and a winning sales personality.
- Polished presentation—fastidious appearance reflects the luxury ethos.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 15kg frequently in a bustling environment.
