Sales Associate
Ask & Embla | London, UK | Full-time
Reports to: Store Manager

We are going physical. Our first-ever retail store is opening in London, and we are looking for the person who will bring it to life. This is a chance to be part of something that does not exist yet, to build it from scratch, and to leave your mark on a brand that already has a global community waiting for it.

Introduction
Ask & Embla is an alternative jewelry brand born from punk, goth, and music subcultures, with a collective following of over 850,000 and a deeply loyal global community. We are opening our first physical retail store in London and we are looking for Sales Associates who want to be part of building something extraordinary. We need people who get the brand instinctively, who are fashion-forward, culturally plugged in, and ideally already love our jewelry. What You'll Do
Customer Experience
- Deliver a high-quality, on-brand customer experience that reflects our values and aesthetic
- Provide confident, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every customer who walks in
- Handle customer questions, feedback, and edge cases with professionalism and warmth
- Create an in-store environment where customers feel comfortable, understood, and excited to return
Store Operations
- Support daily store operations including opening, closing, and in-store workflows
- Maintain store standards across cleanliness, merchandising, and customer flow
- Assist with inventory counts, stock movement, and replenishment
- Flag operational issues and suggest improvements where you see them

Visual Merchandising and Brand Execution
- Maintain product presentation and display standards on the floor
- Support visual merchandising updates in line with brand guidelines and seasonal priorities
- Contribute ideas for how products are displayed and experienced in store
Team and Culture
- Show up as a genuine representative of the Ask & Embla brand, on and off the floor
- Collaborate with teammates to keep the store running smoothly and the energy high
- Participate in store activations, events, and community moments
Who You Are
- At least 1 to 2 years of retail or customer-facing experience, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or alternative culture brands
- Fashion-forward with a strong personal aesthetic and a genuine feel for alternative and subculture brands
- Genuine resonance with Ask & Embla and/or Ambi, with a clear understanding of their aesthetic, values, and audience
- A natural with people, warm, confident, and able to read a room
- Takes pride in the details, from how a product is displayed to how a customer feels when they leave
- Proactive and reliable, you do not wait to be told what to do
- Passionate about customer experience and the details that make it exceptional
- Reliable and punctual, takes shift commitments seriously and shows up ready to give 100%
