As our next Sales Associate, you’ll be on the front line of our growth. You’ll engage with trade businesses who are already interested in joining Checkatrade, build rapport fast, and turn conversations into long-term partnerships. This isn’t cold calling - it’s about converting warm leads into real impact.
Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:
- Responding quickly to inbound leads by phone and email. No delays, no missed opportunities.
- Understanding what customers need and showing how Checkatrade can help their business grow.
- Explaining the value of Checkatrade clearly and handling objections with confidence.
- Managing the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to closing the deal.
- Keeping your activity and pipeline up to date in Salesforce.
- Sharing insights from customer conversations to help spot trends, opportunities and competitor activity.
- Working with internal teams to make sure new members get off to a smooth start.

- Experience in inbound sales, direct sales or account management.
- A track record of consistently hitting sales targets.
- Resilience and determination in a fast-moving sales environment.
- Confidence in handling objections and moving deals forward.
- Strong written and verbal communication that builds trust quickly.
- A proactive, curious mindset and interest in how markets move.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool.

As part of our current hybrid working model, this role requires attendance at our Moorgate office 4 days per week.
