Job Description: Assistant Sales Advisor — Retail

Department: Retail

Reports to: Store Manager

Hours: Full-time (5 days/week, 40 hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays as required)

Purpose of the Role:

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience and build lasting relationships.
  • Contribute to seamless store operations.
  • Maximise every sales opportunity (WSR, sell-through, product insights).

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Target Achievement

  • Provide regular feedback on best-sellers, slow-moving stock, missed sales, and customer requests to the Store Manager.
  • Meet and exceed personal objectives and KPIs as set by management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance, including WSR metrics, sell-through data, and customer feedback.

Client Experience & Relationships

  • Build long-term, commercial relationships with clients to retain and convert sales.
  • Offer unmatched customer service, including timely after-sales support.
  • Handle complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Become an expert in our products, coaching team members on storytelling and key benefits.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure sales floors are visually perfect according to Manolo Blahnik brand standards (stock placement, presentation).
  • Assist with regular stock takes and inventory checks.
  • Support end-of-day processes, including cash management and administrative duties.
  • Help prepare and execute sales events, ensuring they run smoothly.
  • Monitor stock deliveries, verify receipts, and maintain security of stock in storage areas.
  • Champion high standards in all workspaces, including stock rooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Foster an energetic, respectful, and supportive team environment.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.


Requirements & Skills

  • Retail experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong networker – charming, engaging, and adaptable with diverse client demographics.
  • Detail-oriented with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Passionate ambassador for the Manolo Blahnik brand, embodying its values.
  • High degree of finesse and precision in every task.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a bonus.
