Harrods at Gatwick Airport
Harrods at Gatwick Airport incorporates all the glamour and luxury of our Knightsbridge store and the energy and excitement of the terminal. As a Sales Associate, you will add memorable moments of delight to the customers as they peruse our Harrods store at Gatwick. You’ll add your retail experience to our airport location to create an unforgettable experience for visitors from all over the world.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing world-class customer service and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products within the department and increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements. You’ll also understand and properly execute all systems and POS procedures to ensure prompt and efficient sales transactions and full compliance.
Please note, due to the location of this role, all successful applicants will need to provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check to obtain an airside pass. Due to the current unprecedented demand on the Airport ID unit, new airside pass applications are currently taking approximately 5 months from point of application. Further details regarding timeframes will be provided at interview stage.

- Previous experience in retail.
- A genuine interest and passion for Harrods.
- Self-motivated to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge.
- An out-of-the-box thinking mentality, to surprise and delight customers with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- A strong ability to work within a team.
- Great organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly.
- Ability to work morning and evening shifts as well as weekends.
