We are building a professional, student focused team to support learners from their first enquiry through to enrolment and beyond. This role plays an important part in that journey.

About The Role

The Sales Associate will support prospective students throughout the admissions and enrolment journey, from initial enquiry through to successful enrolment.

This is a student recruitment focused role, combining relationship building, consultative sales, applicant support and accurate administration. The postholder will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, understanding their goals, guiding them through the admissions process and helping convert enquiries and applications into enrolled students.

The role is suited to someone who is confident speaking with people, comfortable working to targets and able to deliver a professional, supportive and well organised applicant experience.

Requirements

What You'll Be Doing

  • Engage with prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment, providing clear, professional and supportive guidance throughout the admissions journey
  • Build positive relationships with applicants, understanding their goals and helping them take the right next steps
  • Convert enquiries, applications and interview outcomes into enrolled students in line with individual and team recruitment targets
  • Conduct inbound and outbound communications by phone, email and approved digital platforms
  • Manage applicant pipelines effectively, ensuring timely follow up and clear progress through each stage of the admissions process
  • Support applicants with admissions requirements, documentation, key deadlines and enrolment related queries
  • Provide accurate general information on enrolment processes and student finance, referring complex queries to the appropriate team
  • Maintain accurate records of all student interactions, actions and applicant updates using internal systems
  • Work closely with admissions, academic, finance and student support teams to ensure a joined up applicant experience
  • Identify and escalate any issues that may delay or affect enrolment
  • Provide reception and front of house support when required, representing SoCAI professionally
  • Participate in relevant training and undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the role

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in sales, customer service, recruitment, admissions or another client facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence speaking with prospective students by phone, email and digital platforms
  • Target driven approach with the ability to work towards individual and team goals
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability
  • Ability to manage multiple applicants, tasks and follow ups at the same time
  • Confident using digital systems, databases or CRM style platforms
  • Professional, approachable and student focused manner
  • Good attention to detail when handling records, documents and applicant information
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams
