How You’ll Add Value
Identify and develop growth opportunities within smaller accounts by promoting the full range of GENEWIZ services.
What You’ll Do
- Create sales strategy with the support of manager for the designated territory.
- Conduct marketing and sales independently in academic and small biotech accounts.
- Conduct vendor shows, lunch and learns in academic and small biotech accounts upon request.
- Generate qualified leads through proactive outbound prospecting.
- Follow up with new customers and reply to incoming price inquiries.
- Support field reps from the office including; retrieving data from internal systems such as customer relationship management system (CRM/Salesforce) and project databases (CLIMS).
- Prepare reports as needed for territory and account management.
- Lead generation and data entry into CRM.
- Qualify marketing leads from trade shows, events and campaigns.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences with background in Molecular Biology.
- Previous sales experience required.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal are essential.
- Ability to speak in public and interact with customers with confidence and ease.
- Although this role is not field based, the candidate should be willing and able to travel 3-5 days per month.
- Drivers License Essential preferred.
