Sales Associate – Customer Service at Selfridges
Job Introduction
As a Sales Associate, you are an essential part of a team that creates the extraordinary experiences our customers expect from Selfridges.
Customer service is at the heart of what you do—you’ll be the expert for all things Selfridges, the go-to person to help customers with everything from the latest products, events, and exclusive services.
What You Will Do
- Work as part of a team, focusing on creating memorable customer experiences by:
- Building rapport
- Sharing expert product knowledge
- Catering to individual customer needs
- Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges, assisting customers in finding alternatives if needed or connecting them with our online services
- Maintain the highest retail standards through:
- Selling and replenishing stock
- Organising product displays (rails, etc.)
- Hosting customer events
- Lead by example—embrace and implement customer feedback to continuously elevate service, sales, and retail excellence in your area
- Manage departmental stock, including:
- Unpacking deliveries (new and replenished lines)
- Completing stock audits
- Maintaining stock room organisation
- Remain adaptable, as your tasks may vary daily—perform across different departments while upholding service excellence and collaboration
- Stay ahead of trends by:
- Exploring new market insights
- Expanding your knowledge of products and competitors
- Uphold health, safety, and security protocols while actively preventing stock loss
