About the Role
Nordic Knots is a Swedish design house building a new standard for rugs and home accessories. We are growing fast and expanding our physical footprint. We will soon be opening our first concession at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London, and are recruiting the team to represent Nordic Knots as true brand ambassadors and knowledgeable consultants.
You will be the face of Nordic Knots within one of the city's most iconic department stores, responsible for:
- Driving sales
- Delivering an elevated client experience
- Ensuring the shop-in-shop is impeccably presented and operationally seamless
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong sense of design, interiors, and luxury sales
- The ability to work closely with the Harvey Nichols team
- Dedication to championing our brand’s standards, aesthetic, and service approach

The ideal candidate brings:
- Warmth, expertise, and commercial awareness to every interaction, ensuring clients feel inspired and supported
The ideal candidate has experience in retail and interior design or category-specific expertise in rugs, curtains, or home textiles.

Support & Administration
- Manage follow-ups, quotations, and client communication with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a service-driven and proactive approach

Showroom Presentation
- Maintain upkeep of spatial design and showroom presentation in line with brand and styling guidelines
- Ensure meticulous organisation and attention to detail

Sample Inventory & Logistics
- Support ordering, deliveries, and supply managing for product samples and store operations

Product Learning
- Complement product training with proactive study of available resources to deepen product knowledge

Systems & Tools
- Utilise available tools and systems to support a seamless client journey

Budget Ownership
- Achieve and exceed ambitious store sales targets and KPIs

Concession Liaison
- Build strong working relationships with Harvey Nichols floor management and staff
- Ensure smooth day-to-day collaboration
- Align with store operating procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in premium retail or background in interior design
- Preference given for category knowledge in rugs, curtains, or home textiles
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a refined client service approach
- Organised and detail-oriented, balancing client-facing and operational tasks
- Commercially minded and motivated by delivering results while upholding high service standards
- A proactive and hands-on team player
- Available on flexible availability, including weekends

We are a fast-growing direct-to-consumer Scandinavian interior design brand, with the USA as our major market. Nordic Knots was born from a culture of thoughtful design that exists beyond seasons and trends.
We fuse functionality with aesthetics, and a Scandinavian sensibility, crafting timeless textiles for the modern home. Great textiles are foundational and can transform a house into a harmonious home, framing beautifully curated lives.
Our head office and flagship store are located at Birger Jarlsgatan, central Stockholm. We also have a store in New York. We are scaling up in the Sweden, USA, and now UK.
