The Alliance
The Company
When it comes to digital communities, The Alliance is leading the way. Product marketing, sales enablement, product-led growth, AI, customer success, CMOs—whether you're part of these fields or spanning them all, we host thriving communities for them all.
With 70,000+ professionals engaged across our networks—and a constant stream of events, memberships, and learning products—we help individuals and teams grow faster in their careers. We work with some of the world’s most recognisable companies, priding ourselves on being a high-impact learning partner, not just another events provider.
We’re ambitious, move quickly, and still very early in our journey. That means real ownership, a steep learning curve, and plenty of opportunities to shape the future.
About the Role
We’re hiring early-career Sales Associates to join our Delegate & Membership Sales team. We’re looking for people with energy, curiosity, and the drive to build a career in commercial sales.
This is a junior role by design. You don’t need years of experience—what matters is how quickly you learn, how well you take feedback, and how comfortable you are being challenged. We’ll teach you how to sell properly: how to prospect, qualify, handle objections, manage a pipeline, and close—all while speaking to senior decision-makers at some of the world’s biggest tech companies.
Responsibilities
You’ll sell across our live events, memberships, and learning products in markets like:
- London
- New York
- San Francisco
- Las Vegas
- and beyond
Over time, you can progress into more senior sales or specialist commercial roles across the business.
This role isn’t about arriving fully formed—it’s about building and proving confidence, capability, and success through practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales training & upskilling: Build foundations in prospecting, qualification, pipeline management, and closing—learning to sell confidently to senior B2B stakeholders.
- Engaging key decision-makers: Speak directly with professionals at fast-growing and enterprise tech companies, understand their challenges, and recommend the right events, memberships, or learning solutions.
- End-to-end deal ownership: Handle your own pipeline from first contact through to closing and handover, taking accountability for results and using feedback/data to improve week by week.
- Master product knowledge: Develop deep expertise in our events, memberships, and education ecosystem to enable cross-selling with relevance and confidence.
- Collaboration & feedback: Work closely with marketing, product, community, and customer success teams, sharing insights and operating autonomously while seeking support when needed.
