Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Chorley. The Sales Associate will support daily store operations by welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing product information and recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

- Processing sales transactions
- Handling payments accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
- Assisting with pricing, merchandising, and inventory tasks
- Following company policies and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience
- Collaborating with colleagues and store leadership to meet sales targets and uphold high service standards
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with a diverse range of customers.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling abilities, including accurate processing of payments and use of point-of-sale systems.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain store presentation, and support inventory activities.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude toward shared goals and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to work in a dynamic retail environment and respond effectively to customer inquiries or issues.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move stock safely, and follow health and safety guidelines.
- Reliable work habits, including punctuality, professional conduct, and readiness to work scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays as required.
