About tepeo
We are a growing ClimateTech business on a mission to disrupt the heating industry with a revolutionary low-carbon heating technology. Decarbonisation of domestic heating is the single biggest challenge facing the UK’s goal to reach Net Zero. Heating represents over 17% of all carbon emissions in the UK.
We launched the tepeo Heat Battery Boiler in 2021 and are focused on bringing it to more customers across the UK, growing our network of tepeoPRO installers and developing new solutions to help even more homes transition away from gas and oil.
We’ve been recognised as one of the most exciting ClimateTech scale-ups in the UK and recently included in the Government's BUS subsidy scheme. There’s more on our website at tepeo.com.
About the Role
At tepeo, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome and valued. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of perspectives and experiences, and we believe that diversity makes us stronger.
We are looking for an ambitious, driven Sales & Business Development Executive to join our team. As a hybrid role based at our Wokingham HQ, you will play a vital role in our commercial team. Reporting to our National Sales Manager, you’ll be the face and voice of our brand in one of the UK’s most active green-tech markets.
You’ll have the best of both worlds: acting as the key technical support for our internal Pre-Sales team (helping review and approve digital surveys), while regularly heading out into the field to grow, support, and close sales with our certified tepeoPRO installer network across London, the South, and the Home Counties.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Details
- Type: Full-time, starting as soon as you can.
- Location: Hybrid (Wokingham / Field-based travel across London & the South)
- Review & Approve Surveys: Check smartphone-submitted digital surveys from homeowners (looking at things like electrical setups, access routes, and space) to make sure a ZEB is a perfect fit before we pass the lead to our installer network.
- Keep Things Moving: Act as the main point of contact for your territory—monitoring lead response times and catching up with installers to help them turn qualified leads into finalised quotes.
- Track Your Success: Work closely with the National Sales Manager to identify new opportunities to help us grow our sales volumes and track opportunities clearly in our CRM.
- Support Our Installers: Manage and grow a portfolio of tepeoPRO installer accounts across the South. You’ll help them succeed through training days, joint customer visits, and local workshops.
- Hands-on Site Visits: Head out to properties (either solo or alongside our tepeoPRO partners) to check out trickier heating and electrical systems and confirm ZEB compatibility.
- Spread the Word: Attend industry events, trade shows, and local merchant breakfast mornings to network, generate leads, and get people excited about our thermal storage technology.
- Embrace our Culture: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and skills enhancement.
About You
- The Right Experience: You have a proven track record in technical sales, account management, or business development—ideally within heating, utilities, or renewables.
- Local Knowledge: You know your way around London, the South, and the Home Counties, and understand the local heating market.
- Technical Aptitude: You have a genuine passion for low-carbon tech and understand how domestic wet central heating systems and boilers work.
- The Hybrid Mindset: You love the variety of a hybrid role. You’re just as comfortable analyzing data and collaborating with teams in the Wokingham office as you are chatting with an installer on a busy building site.
- Proactive & Relentless: You have great people skills and the persistence needed to chase quotes, solve problems, and keep the sales pipeline moving.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using CRMs, maps, and pipeline software to keep your work organized and aligned with the wider business.
- On the Move: You’re ready to travel regularly across the Southern region and hold a valid UK driver’s license.
