Sales & Business Development Manager

Description
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development & Sales Manager to help grow ITVET’s presence across the commercial and retail property sector. Reporting to the Business Development Director, this role will be responsible for developing and managing a personal pipeline of new business opportunities, converting leads into revenue, and driving new client acquisition. Opportunities will come from a mixture of personal prospecting, leads generated by the Business Development Director, Client Relationship team, and ITVET’s established relationships across the sector.
The successful candidate will leverage ITVET’s partner status with leading managing agents, existing industry relationships and strong market reputation to create opportunities, build meaningful client relationships and win new business. They will represent ITVET at networking events, conferences and industry forums, working closely with our Communication & Branding teams, to raise ITVET’s profile and open new routes into the sector. They will also have the opportunity to work alongside lead generation partners to build and develop ITVET’s wider SME division, creating a consistent pipeline of opportunities and supporting growth beyond the property sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
- Build, manage and develop a personal pipeline of new business opportunities across the commercial and retail property sector.
- Proactively prospect for new clients, identify target accounts and create opportunities through direct outreach, sector knowledge and relationship-led business development.
- Convert warm leads, introductions and preferred partner opportunities into qualified prospects, active sales conversations and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Pick up and progress leads identified by the Business Development Director, Client Relationship team and wider ITVET network, ensuring each opportunity is properly qualified, followed up and moved through the sales process.
- Leverage ITVET’s partner status with leading managing agents, existing industry relationships and sector reputation to create credible entry points into new accounts.
- Develop a strong understanding of key target groups, including:
- Managing agents, landlords, property management teams and on-site operational stakeholders
- Current ITVET preferred partner relationships and sector referral routes
- Target accounts, growth opportunities and decision-making cycles
- Develop a strong understanding of ITVET’s services and how they support the operational needs of property clients, including:
- Managed IT services and service desk support
- Connectivity, cyber security, cloud, consultancy and project delivery
- Technology opportunities across retail destinations, commercial estates and managed property environments
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, lead status, follow-up actions and opportunity information within the CRM.

Sector Engagement & Relationship Development
- Attend networking events, conferences, sector forums and client-facing meetings to represent ITVET professionally and raise the company’s profile.
- Build meaningful relationships with managing agents, landlords, property managers and operational decision-makers across the commercial and retail property sector.
- Use ITVET’s preferred partner status and established sector relationships to open new routes into target accounts.
- Support early-stage discovery conversations, helping prospects understand how ITVET can improve service, stability and technology outcomes.
- Progress qualified opportunities into proposals, audits and commercial next steps.
- Represent ITVET confidently in sector conversations, positioning the business as a credible, specialist technology partner for property clients.

Marketing, Reputation & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the Communication and Branding teams to identify campaigns, content, events and outreach activity that build ITVET’s reputation in the sector.
- Collaborate with Client Relations, Projects, Consultancy and technical teams to ensure new opportunities are positioned accurately and handed over effectively.
- Assist with tenders, pitches and new business presentations, helping to shape clear, relevant and commercially strong responses for prospective clients.
- Work alongside lead generation partners to support ITVET’s wider SME growth strategy and create a consistent pipeline of opportunities beyond the property sector.
- Share market insight, prospect feedback and emerging opportunities with internal teams to support business development planning and future growth activity.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Confident, proactive relationship builder with strong commercial awareness.
- Comfortable developing new relationships and opening conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Able to turn warm leads and industry introductions into qualified opportunities.
- Strong communication, organisation and follow-up skills.
- Experience in business development, sales or relationship-led growth, ideally within technology, managed services, property or a B2B professional services environment.
- Forward-thinking, able to see the bigger picture and confident in taking ownership
