Role Overview
Join the team as a Sales & Business Development Manager based in London. This fully remote role offers the chance to make a significant impact by driving new business in the UK. - Drive new business acquisition by selling card acquiring and payment acceptance solutions to low-risk merchants across the UK
- Build and manage a strong outbound sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Identify, approach, and close new merchant opportunities across target verticals such as e-commerce, retail, digital services, SaaS, and other low-risk industries
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure efficient merchant onboarding and successful implementation
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience within payments and FinTech
- Proven experience selling card acquiring or payment acceptance solutions
- Strong understanding of the UK payments market and local payment methods
- Demonstrated success in generating outbound pipeline independently
- Experience managing the full sales cycle and closing new business
- Understanding of merchant pricing, settlement, onboarding processes, risk, and compliance fundamentals
- Strong CRM discipline with structured pipeline management and reporting
- Existing network within the UK payments ecosystem is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
