Sales Coordinator - On-Site 5 days per week in Essex - Competitive Salary & Package

Futures are partnering with a leading player in the FMCG sector, dedicated to providing high-quality and innovative products to consumers worldwide. This business supplies throughout the UK, Europe, and the Far East and Middle East, and they have experienced excellent growth over the past few years, with a current turnover of £40m and a team of 100+ employees.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sales looking to kickstart or further enhance their career.

Working closely with the Sales Office Manager and field-based Account Managers, you'll play a key role in supporting international customers, coordinating export orders, and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts while providing first-class service throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with international customer accounts.
  • Coordinate export orders from initial enquiry through to delivery.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure export compliance.
  • Process customer orders, dispatches, and sample requests.
  • Liaise with freight providers and arrange container bookings and deliveries.
  • Keep customers informed of shipment progress and delivery schedules.
  • Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate account information.
  • Manage back orders and ensure customers receive regular updates.
  • Support field-based Account Managers with administrative and sales activities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments including logistics, warehouse, and sales to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email, delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Assist with wider sales office administration and support the wider commercial team when required.

About You

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experienced within sales administration, export coordination, logistics, or customer service.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys supporting colleagues across multiple departments.
  • Experience working with export documentation or international shipping would be advantageous.
  • Additional language skills, particularly German or French, would be beneficial but are by no means essential.
