Sales Colleague

Retail Sales Colleague – Part Time (8-15h/week)

Location: Currys, Wednesbury Hours: Flexible, 8-15 hours per week with opportunity to work additional hours Contract: Permanent, part-time Salary: £12.71/hour + average 89p/hr bonus → £13.01/hour after successful probation

As a Retail Sales Colleague, you don’t need prior tech expertise—we provide a comprehensive induction (2-3 days, either virtual or in-person at our Fort Dunlop Academy, Birmingham). Here, you’ll develop essential skills to:

  • Sell & support our customers
  • Recommend high-quality products with confidence
  • Master supplier training, product demos, and pre-launch checks
  • Get hands-on with the latest tech to ensure expertise and trust

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Matching: Ask insightful questions to pair customers with the right products.
  • Memorable Service: Create exceptional customer interactions.
  • Extended Support: Assist with delivery/installation, recycling, and flexible payment options.
  • Sales Drive: Contribute to store performance (exit rates, sales targets).
  • Cross-Departmental Work: Assist across different teams and product ranges.
  • Store Operations: Support store functions via operational tasks.
