Sales Colleague

Retail Sales Colleague – Part Time

Location: Currys, Chesterfield

Contract: Permanent | Hours: 15–30 hrs/week (flexible with extra hours available)

Salary: £12.71/hour (rising to £13.01 after successful probation) + average bonus of 89p/hour

This Part-Time Retail Sales Colleague role requires no prior technical expertise; a 2–3 day induction (virtual or in-person at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham) will equip you with essential sales, service, and customer support skills. From product training and demos to hands-on tech experience, you’ll gain confidence to recommend solutions tailored to every customer.

Store hours typically include Saturdays and Sundays, with opening times generally between 9am–8pm (local variations apply).

Key Responsibilities

  • Match customers with the right products by asking insightful questions and understanding their needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences—every interaction should leave a lasting impression.
  • Support customers with services, including:
    • Delivery & installation
    • Recycling initiatives
    • Payment options
  • Drive sales performance to help meet store targets.
  • Collaborate across departments to provide cohesive service.
  • Assist with operational tasks to ensure smooth store running.
