Sales Colleague – Retail (Part Time) – Brierley Hill, Currys, Merry Hill
About the Role
Location: Brierley Hill, Currys, Merry Hill Type: Permanent Hours: Part Time (8-15 hours/week, flexible with possible additional hours) Wage: £12.71/hour (four-weekly bonus averaging £0.89/hour) → £13.01/hour on successful probation

Overview
This isn’t a role for tech experts—just caring people who love helping others. All new colleagues receive a two- to three-day induction, either virtually or at our academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. Here, you’ll gain:
- Hands-on skills in selling, servicing, and supporting customers.
- Supplier training, product demos, and hands-on testing of upcoming releases.
- The confidence to provide expert recommendations to customers.
Our Sales Colleagues work across our operating hours, typically including Saturdays and Sundays (stores are generally open 9am–8pm, with local variations).

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Sales Colleague, your role will include:
- Engaging with customers to ask the right questions and match them with perfect technology solutions.
- Delivering exceptional service—ensuring every interaction is memorable and positive.
- Offering full support services, including:
- Delivery & installation
- Product recycling programs
- Flexible payment options
- Driving store sales performance as part of the team effort.
- Cross-department collaboration, from tech support to operational tasks.
- Supporting store operations—from customer-facing tasks to day-to-day logistics.
