Retail Sales Colleague – Llandudno (Part Time)


Role Overview

Location: Llandudno Employer: Currys Contract: Permanent Hours: 8–15 per week (flexible to work additional hours)

Competitive rate: £12.71 per hour + average hourly bonus of 89p (£13.01 following successful probation).

As a Retail Sales Colleague, you’ll need no prior technical expertise. All new team members attend a 2–3 day induction (virtual or at our Fort Dunlop Academy, Birmingham) covering essential skills in sales, customer service, and tech knowledge. You’ll be equipped with everything you need, from supplier training to hands-on product demos.

Our services run 7 days a week, typically from 9am to 8pm, with occasional extension hours, including weekends (Saturdays & Sundays).

Responsibilities

You’ll be key in delivering memorable customer experiences by:

  • Matching customers with the right products through in-depth consultations.
  • Creating lasting impressions in every interaction.
  • Offering additional services (delivery, installation, recycling, payment plans) to enhance the customer journey.
  • Driving store sales through excellent product recommendations and upselling.
  • Collaborating across departments (e.g. finance, logistics, repair).
  • Supporting operational tasks to ensure smooth store operations.

Candidates should:

  • Be approachable and friendly, engendering trust and confidence.
  • Show enthusiasm for learning new tech and staying up-to-date.
  • Thrive on achieving personal performance targets in sales, service, and customer experience.
  • Be a strong team player, comfortable across all store functions.
