Sales Colleague

Location: Barnstaple, Currys, Barnstaple Type: Permanent Hours: 15–30 hours per week (with flexibility to work additional hours) Pay: £12.71/hour (raises to £13.01 on successful probation) + average bonus of 89p/hour

Your Role as a Retail Sales Colleague

No prior tech knowledge is required—our commitment to your success starts with a two- to three-day induction (virtual or at our Fort Dunlop Academy, Birmingham). Here, you’ll:

  • Develop key skills in selling, servicing, and supporting customers.
  • Participate in supplier training, product demos, and cutting-edge tech testing.
  • Gain real-world expertise to confidently recommend top-tier products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asking the right questions to match customers with the perfect products.
  • Creating memorable experiences during every customer interaction.
  • Offering extra support services, including:
    • Delivery and installation assistance.
    • Recycling and sustainable tech options.
    • Flexible payment solutions.
  • Driving store sales by collaborating across teams and product lines.
  • Assisting with store operations, from retail tasks to customer flow management.
