Sales Colleague – Retail (Part Time)

Location: Kilmarnock, Currys Contract: Permanent Hours: 8–15 hours per week, flexible to include additional hours as available

Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.01 after successful probation + average 89p bonus per hour.

About the Role and Company

At Currys, we thrive on one passion: empowering everyone to enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s leading tech retailer, our dedication to exceptional service comes from a team of supportive, friendly colleagues.

As a Retail Sales Colleague, you don’t need prior tech expertise—all new colleagues attend a 2–3 day induction, either virtually or at our award-winning academy in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. You’ll gain essential skills to:

  • Sell and demonstrate our latest products
  • Support customers with queries, deliveries, installations, recycling, and payment options
  • Collaborate across store teams and product ranges

Our stores operate 7 days a week, typically 9am–8pm (variations apply locally). Our Sales Colleagues work flexibly, including weekends, making this role ideal if you’d like structured, part-time flexibility.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
