Do you have experience working as a Sales and Commercial Administrator, particularly for a manufacturing company? Do you enjoy building and maintaining supplier relationships?
At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Commercial Administrator to join our team in Doncasters Deritend, based in Worcestershire.
Working hours – 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8am – 2pm
This role is based 100% onsite.

The Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Sales & Commercial Administrator to join our team. This customer-facing role is central to delivering an excellent customer experience, providing day-to-day support to customers while working closely with the Customer Service Manager and teams across Planning, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Sales.
You'll manage customer enquiries and orders, maintain accurate customer and contract information, coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met, and keep customers informed on order progress and delivery schedules. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help ensure a smooth, efficient service from enquiry through to delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain customer records and update the QMS contract review system.
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements and resolve queries.
- Monitor order progress and provide customers with timely updates on delivery schedules and order status.
- Support the delivery of a professional, efficient and customer-focused service.

- To Succeed in this role, you will be confident navigating excel to maintain and update trackers daily and week for customers.
- The successful candidate will be organised and have attention to detail skills to ensure that all customer data is recorded accurately.
- You will enjoy communicating with customers, supporting them through any enquiries both over the phone and on email.
- You will have experience working in a similar role, if this experience is gained through working for a manufacturing, engineering or Aerospace company in particular that is advantageous.
