Job Title: Sales Consultant
Location: Leyland, Preston
Salary: OTE £30k in Year 1 increasing to £33k+

We are now recruiting for a Sales Consultant to go above and beyond all customer expectations on both the sales and service aspect of customer interaction, whilst maximising all sales opportunities and building relationships with key agents.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Accountabilities
- Answering calls in a professional and timely manner
- Delivering outstanding customer service on every call
- Delivering required conversions over each trading period
- Maximising all sales opportunities
- Maximising all ancillary sales opportunities. i.e. Touring (extended and day), cars and campervans, transfers
- Feedback on Barriers To Sale (Pricing & Product)
- Answering sales calls from various brands within the Gold Medal Travel Group portfolio
- Minimising losses and errors within the business
- Reading back all details of customers itinerary
- Answering calls in a professional and timely manner in line with company procedure
- Delivering outstanding customer service on every call
- Adhering to all call centre call etiquettes
- Always going the extra mile for every customer
- Follow up on enquiries/quotes from customers
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal and external

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Qualification:
- Equivalent to GCSE or O’Level standards
Experience:
- Previous sales experience
- Previous experience from working in a target driven environment
- Previous experience working in a customer driven environment
Desirable:
- To have travelled to long haul destinations
Skills and Knowledge:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated
- Customer focussed
- Numerate
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work cross department
- Ability to multi-skill
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products/ and/or in house systems
