Sales Consultant
Sales Consultant – Black Steel Doors (Wembley, London)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Wembley, London. As a Sales Consultant at Black Steel Doors, you will be the first point of contact for many of our clients, assisting homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors in finding the right steel door and glazing solutions for their projects.
This is a consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding client requirements, and guiding projects from enquiry through to completion. You’ll work with a premium product range and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and website leads
- Qualify opportunities and assess client project requirements
- Provide expert advice on steel-framed doors, partitions, and glazing systems
- Prepare quotations and proposals using company systems
- Follow up enquiries and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Build strong relationships with homeowners, architects, designers, and commercial clients
- Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM system
- Coordinate with operations and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Work towards individual and team sales targets while delivering excellent customer service

Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or client-facing role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools

Desirable:
- Experience within construction, glazing, steel doors, interiors, architecture, or a related industry
- Experience selling bespoke or high-value products
- Understanding of architectural drawings or construction projects
