Sales Consultant

Sales Consultant – Store Role

(Sleep Wellness ™ & sleepPRO™ Technology Specialist)

As a Sales Consultant in one of our local benson for beds stores, your product expertise in sleep wellness and natural ability to engage customers will guide them to the perfect sleep solutions tailored to their needs—using our unique sleepPRO™ technology.

Training & Support

We’ll provide:

  • Comprehensive training to understand our sleep equipment and technology
  • Guidance on our sales processes and retail standards
  • Full setup for success so you can hit the ground running

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Facing Sales & Advice

  • Advise customers on sleep product recommendations to enhance their ideal sleeping experience
  • Correlate customer needs with our Sleep Wellness ™ range
  • Embrace our ‘can-do’ attitude, adapting to individual preferences for personalised service
  • Spot sales opportunities and suggest add-on products where relevant

Store & Team Contributions

  • Help maintain a fresh, clean, and inviting store environment
  • Work across peak hours (evenings, weekends, bank holidays) to maximise conversions
  • Engage proactively with customers during busy retail periods

Compensation & Hours

  • Uncapped commission structure—earnings beyond base salary and OTE (on-target income) are not Jones
  • Weekend work Day Off (WDTO) scheme—balancing flexibility with peak sales potential

Requirements & Persona

Who We’re Looking For

  • Customer service-first mindset—driven to help customers achieve their best night’s sleep
  • Experience in retail or customer-facing roles (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to:
    • Build rapport and identify sales opportunities
    • Work in dynamic environments with resilience and resourcefulness
    • Dare to innovate and push product selections beyond expectations
