We are looking to hire a Sales Consultant to join our team!
Reporting to the Customer Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across a range of sales and customer contact channels. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Northwich.
As part of our Sales team, you'll manage inbound and outbound sales enquiries via phone, live chat, email and other online channels, helping customers find and book their ideal holiday. Through excellent communication, tailored recommendations and outstanding service, you'll support customers throughout their booking journey while contributing to effective multi-channel sales activity. Guided by customer insight and performance data, we strive to ensure every interaction is engaging, timely, targeted and, above all, customer led.
What we’ll offer:
- Competitive base salary of £25,000-£26,500 per annum, with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £33,000 per annum

What you’ll do:
- Responding to inbound and outbound sales enquiries via phone, live chat and email, ensuring agreed service levels are met while delivering a warm, professional and reassuring customer experience.
- Creating tailored Headwater holiday packages for customers, including flights, ferries, rail travel, car hire, transfers and accommodation, while liaising with suppliers and internal teams before and after booking.
- Managing the customer journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking, building strong relationships and providing knowledgeable, confident support throughout.
- Handling live chat enquiries promptly and professionally, helping customers find the right holiday and progress their booking with confidence.
- Managing email enquiries in line with agreed service levels and quality standards, ensuring responses are accurate, informative and customer focused.
- Working collaboratively with internal departments to ensure holidays are booked, confirmed and progressed efficiently from initial lead through to completion.
- Consistently working towards and achieving individual and team sales targets while contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
What you’ll bring:
- A conscientious and customer-focused individual with a genuine passion for travel, active holidays, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- A proven track record in sales, with the confidence, drive and motivation to achieve both individual and team targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional telephone manner and the ability to build strong rapport with customers.
- A proactive and determined approach, with the ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend suitable holidays.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks accurately within a busy sales environment.
- Flexibility and a willingness to support wider business needs, including undertaking ad hoc tasks that contribute to a seamless customer experience.
- Knowledge of European destinations, travel logistics, flights, and rail travel would be beneficial.
- Experience using reservation systems, customer databases (CRM systems), and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook, would be advantageous.
- Previous experience using GDS platforms such as Amadeus or Galileo would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
