Specialist Blinds: Sales Consultant (Commission-Based)
About Specialist Blinds
Specialist Blinds is a leading UK provider of premium shading solutions, catering to luxury homeowners, architects, and interior designers. With over 25 years of industry experience and a team of 70 professionals, we pride ourselves on precision, quality, and exceptional customer service.
We’re growing and seeking the right talent to join our team—one that shares our passion for excellence and adaptability.
Role Overview
Honesty First: How This Role Works
This is a commission-only position. While commission-based structures can sometimes raise concerns, here’s the reality at Specialist Blinds:
-
Industry standard: Commission-only models are common—and fair—in specialist blinds and interiors sectors. They allow consultants to earn based on their effort and expertise rather than being constrained to a fixed salary.
-
What you can expect:
- No cold calling, door-to-door sales, or recruitment. Our consultants only contact pre-qualified clients who’ve already expressed interest.
- Transparency: Our consultants earn £65,000–£100,000+ annually—this is our current range, not a projection or cap. This reflects actual earnings from genuine work with a decade-long average tenure.
- No hidden caveats: Commissions are paid on every sale, with full clarity for consultants.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
