The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded consultant who combines strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and practical business experience.
You will work directly with business owners, directors and leadership teams to identify opportunities, support business improvement initiatives and help clients achieve measurable outcomes.
The role combines opportunity development, consultancy sales, client delivery and account growth.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with businesses, solving problems, building relationships and creating commercial value.

Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Development
- Build relationships with business owners, directors, advisers, introducers and strategic partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Support the continued growth of the FortisConnect client base.
Consultancy Sales & Conversion
- Conduct discovery meetings and business reviews.
- Understand client challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Scope consultancy engagements and prepare proposals.
- Convert opportunities into client engagements.
Account Growth
- Build long-term client relationships.
- Generate repeat work, referrals and introductions.
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements.
Areas of Focus

- Growth and commercial performance

- Team effectiveness and performance
- Strategic growth initiatives

Who We Are Looking For

You will have:
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with business owners and leadership teams.
- Strong B2B communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to identify, develop and convert opportunities.
- A practical and results-oriented approach.
Financial services experience is advantageous but not essential.
Remuneration
£40,000–£55,000 base salary depending on experience.
Performance-related commission linked to collected consultancy revenue.
