Sales Consultant – Bluewater Store (Part-Time, Fixed Term, 13 Months)

Location: Bluewater Store, London Hourly Rate: £13.45

As a ** Sales Consultant** in our Bluewater store, you’ll represent our brand excellence by delivering exceptional customer service, fostering personalised consulting experiences, and ensuring our signature hand massages, fragrance evaluations, and product trials are effortlessly delivered.

This is a part-time role (12 hours/week) on a fixed-term 13-month contract. Join us if you share our passion for luxury, wellness, and customer connection in a vacation retailer environment.


Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Engage customers with the ultimate sensory experience by guiding them through fragrance consultations, product sampling, and hand/arm massage rituals.
  • Offer detailed expertise on Molton Brown’s definition fragrances, hand remedies, and bath/superpremium home products.
  • Provide customised recommendations aligned with customer preferences and lifestyles.
  • Manage store operations, including:
    • Assisting with stock control, sales ring-ups, and product replenishment.
    • Ensuring compliance with shop presentation standards and health & safety.
    • Performing general store upkeep, including cleaning tasks.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Support your team in creating a welcoming, high-end retail environment that embodies Molton Brown’s values of elegance and innovation.

Requirements

We are seeking someone with:

  • Exceptional communication skills: Confident, engaging, and adaptive for all-age customers.
  • A passion for luxury: Championing exclusive, personalised service and our artisan-made products.
  • High standards of grooming/personality: Reflecting Molton Brown’s sophisticated and polished brand identity.
  • Team collaboration: Proactive, motivational, and aligned with store-wide KPIs (e.g., sales, customer satisfaction).
  • Flexibility in hours: Availability to respond to seasonal demands and business requirements.
  • Professional customer service experience: Previous retail or advisory roles/knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Educational background: No specific requirements, but enthusiasm for luxury goods and fashion aesthetics is key.
