We're recruiting a Self-Employed Sales Consultant to cover the Brighton territory, representing one of the UK's leading providers of mobility solutions.
Working in partnership with a major national organisation, you'll be provided with a steady flow of warm, pre-qualified appointments generated through inbound customer enquiries. With current conversion rates averaging around 50%, you'll be meeting customers who are already actively considering a solution.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a consultative sales professional looking to maximise their earning potential while helping people maintain their independence at home.

The Role
You'll be meeting customers in their homes to assess their requirements and recommend the most suitable mobility solutions. This will be focused on Stairlifts initially, but as you show how well you've grasped those products, other product ranges can be introduced to broaden your opportunities to sell.
Products include:
- Stairlifts
- Through-floor lifts
- Bathing solutions
- Other mobility and accessibility equipment
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending pre-qualified appointments within customers' homes
- Using a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs
- Recommending tailored mobility solutions
- Conducting detailed property surveys and taking accurate measurements
- Completing survey reports and sales documentation to a high standard
- Preparing quotations and processing orders
- Delivering a professional and empathetic customer experience
A dedicated in-house team handles all post-appointment follow-up, allowing you to focus on consultations and sales.
About You
We're interested in speaking to candidates who possess:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Previous direct sales, field sales or in-home sales experience
- A consultative and customer-focused approach
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A practical or technical mindset
- Confidence using a tape measure accurately and completing survey forms
- Basic technology skills and confidence using tablet-based systems
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- The ability to pass a DBS check
- The right to work in the UK
